IN MY OWN LITTLE BOX
Product Design, Bookbinding, Letterpress / 2016
The model minority myth places unattainable expectations on the Asian American individual. It’s stripping us of the chance to be seen as normal human beings. Through dialogue and sharing of experiences, how can we gain a stronger sense of identity, not based on labels, but in the value of thinking outside that “box?"
Everything from the pins, to the construction of the box to the letterpress tags were all done by hand by me.
